1. Mike Blankenship Skate Park
It was established in 2002 by local skateboarders, city government officials, and local skater’s union members.
One thing I love about this skate park is regardless of your skating level or age, there is something for you.
Features:
- Equipped with a half pipe, a bunch of rails, transition areas, and built-in street elements.
- Comes with a 5-feet deep pool, rolled lip areas, and an open bowl.
- Measures about 26,000 square feet, allowing maximum enjoyment.
Restrictions:
- Public skatepark so anyone can access it.
- No waivers are required.

Located along the Jackson Bluff Rd at Appleyard Drive near the James Messer Sports Complex and the Lee County Jail.

2. Skateable Art Park
Unlike the Mike Blankenship Park, this Tallahassee skatepark was opened just recently, in June 2022. It was developed by the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency in collaboration with the local skate community.
Features:
- A beautiful 225-feet long snake runs with a giant rattlesnake head.
- Large flow bowl featuring deep end, shallow end, lots of hips, and a roll-in.
- Multiple street obstacles, including flat bars, stair sets, down ledges, and quarter pipes.
Restrictions:
- Free and open to everyone.
- Users must wear safety gear to avoid skatepark injuries.

Situated at the northeast corner of FAMU Way and west of Pinellas Street. Accessible from the Southside schools and neighborhoods.

3. The Secret Skatepark
Here is yet another fun Skatepark in Tallahassee I highly recommend, especially to experienced skateboarders. Word has it that a local skate shop and skateboarders set up this park. It has been around since 2017.
But one thing I like about this Tallahassee skatepark is its many outdoor toys for climbing. So, people of all ages will have fun here.
Features:
- Fitted with a DIY quarter pipe, spine, roll-in, ledges, curbs, gaps, wallride, and banks.
- Lots of transition areas, allowing for backside flips and kickflips.
- Made of concrete.
